I just install the google pinyin, go into settings to enable it, and restart.

Search pinyin in the application manager it should be one of the four options. You might need to add extra-devel to your repo though.

You need to specify more details. How are you installing the app? (xterm? App Manager? Fapman? etc). Exactly what error do you get? Copy/paste the log or the output.

sory that, the scim google pinyin was install from App Manager, after uninstall it i cant' get back SCIM from app Manager any more and my n900 now cannot type any chines words.
