When fixed I am going to encase my phone in a steel box!

Had a look on the net and plenty available, but have settles on Sians Mobiles as I've bought LCDs from them before. (no I'm not a serial screen breaker!)

Anyway, any tips, once I get new screen, on disassembly / assembly?

Anything to watch out for?

Well it flew off my car seat and hit something and broke...so assumed it was my fault.

Probably because it isnt due to a defect in hardware or the craftsmanship of the phone. Maybe he sat on it or something. There are a bunch of disassembly videos, and some service manuals floating around online. Im sure that a google search can yield the proper info.

Exactly right...and to be honest even if there was a chance they would send it back without fixing it, for the sake of £40 inc next day delivery, I'd rather just accept its my fault and get on with it.

Tell you what though, not having it makes me realise how much I use it - really missing it already!

And just to say I will be consulting, Nokia RX-51 Service Manual Level 1&2, and following:

Page 12, step 4,5,6,7,8

Page 16, step 25,26,27,28,29,30

Page 17, step 40,41,42,43,44,45,46,47

Oh and I ordered everything from RS. (www.rswww.com). Came to £15 total, for Anti Static Gloves, Torx T6, Phillips 00x60 and next day delivery, which I thought was very reasonable.
