I also have the same issue, where all the pics have a blue tint to them and none of the photos are matching to the actual photo of the contact.
I tried the solutions you have suggested and have had no luck with them at all. I still have the blue tint and unmatching contact photos??

And for the call block, i installed PyCallBlocker and it works fine. Maybe it is possible that you can merge with it? sorry if it sounds noob, i have no idea about programming.

PyCallBlocker by the name is a python program. MyContacts is a Qt program so the answer is unfortunately no. Also, I think PyCallBlocker uses a list of phone numbers and mycontacts will use a list of "contacts".

Again... no... But if you elaborate on where (and how) you would like mycontacts to be accessed I may think about workarounds. One feature that I am already working on is to access the "contacts" application from mycontacts for adding and editing contacts - with the latest release you should already be able to edit the contact information by clicking on its avatar on the contact dialog.

They are "mostly" sorted. There is an issue on qt mobility contacts sort with contacts that don't have first and last name, only nickname. The incremental search is on the works.

The widget does not allow to scroll because widgets don't have access to the "finger wiping" events - they are exclusively used for you to switch between desktops.
