Somehow I managed to make the buttons and sliders disappear in Witter and tracker-cfg. I still see the text which should be on the buttons/next to the sliders, but the buttons, sliders etc are invisible. I tried to look into what is wrong myself, and I remembered that I changed the font from Nokia Sans to Droid Sans. I couldn't imagine that this caused it, but I reverted this to Nokia Sans.
My next step would be to revert the /usr/share/themes and /opt/usr/share/themes directories to the original state. The only problem is that I never thought to backup those... Is there anyone out there with a working Witter and/or tracker-cfg who is willing to send me a tarball of those two directories?
Just a simple tar jcf /home/user/MyDocs/themes.tbz /usr/share/themes /opt/usr/share/themes would be enough as far as I can see.
Or am I missing some important step here? Maybe I can fix it by simply deleting some user preferences?
I don't really mind reflashing my N900, but I'd rather not if there is some other way.
I do have quite some Linux experience, but I have no idea how to fix this... If this where my Slackware install I'd just reinstall the themes packages.
