one more thing...
at the moment I'm running the hildon-desktop from 'tomast'.
I just tried an apt-get upgrade.... An upgrade for 'libhildon-extras1' has been found.

Could I install this without problems or will it somehow screw up the installed tomasts hildon-desktop?

Will post that tonight when I'm back home.
Does/will your version have keyboard shortcuts as well?

libhildon-extras1 is the package for Hildon-Extras. It is completely unrelated to the Hildon Desktop, so the answer is yes!

Hmm... I wanted to enable the Alt-Tab functionality. I installed your hildon-desktop, copy pasted the gconftool line from your page, as root, as normal user, rebooted, killed hildon-desktop, didnt work. What could I have possibly done wrong?

It would be nice if these different hildon-desktop modification projects could be merged into one.

Agreed, they all have very good points to them so why not stick them together and have the best of all worlds!

I wouldn't mind 2 version until the next sys update. One would be just bug fixes and basic and the other would be for power users who want to customize there sys more. Sometime I like lots ot choice, but sometime I just want something simple and solid.

Thanks to all guys that have been working on bring us these fixes/tweaks.
