when I 'search for a venue' and the results load. I select the venue I want to check in at and I am getting the message...

and it sits at 25% and never completes

Hi hschmitt and Tim,

Can you both please open an XTerminal and start barriosquare with the command:

run-standalone.sh /opt/barriosquare/bootstrap.py 1>/home/user/barrio.log 2>&1

And then send me the barrio.log file as a private message?

This will hopefully point out what's going on.

I sent the log to you and had a quick look at it.
Then I uploaded a picture to foursquare, removed the /home/user/.barriosquare folder tried it again and it succeeded.

Did a fresh install too and I can only ping my friends..
Darn...am using BarrioSquare mainly to update Facebook,
It is working again but of no use for me now....

barriosquare-0.3.10 is available in extras-devel now and fixes a bunch more bugs.

This should hopefully reduce the number of times barriosquare "stalls" while retrieving information from the server.

If someone wants to get the facebook feature working, please feel free to branch the code at http://gitorious.org/barriosquare and submit patches. I'm away for a while now so hopefully that makes barriosquare mostly usable again. As I'm not the original developer I'm not really interested in adding features, etc, I'm just keeping it working as best it can.

I actually uninstalled the app and reinstalled, seems to be working now!

I'm getting a "token expired" message when I open the app, any suggestions on how I can get access again?

You'll need to sign in again. Unfortunately there's no way in the app to sign out yet

To sign out, you need to delete the /home/user/.barriosquare directory on your device. Then next time you start barriosquare you'll be able to sign in.
