    Now all the future Nokia phones will be oval and have curves.....Is this bad or not, I don`t know

    He won't design the hardware but rather the UI

    This isn't bad news surely, but i'm kind of surprised why it's taken as such a good news. What's his merits in software side(i really don't know)?

    As far as Palms hw design.... well they have made some okis looking soap boxes.

    He doesn't need to have "merits" in software, in fact as a designer it's better that he doesn't.

    well, he was there for 11 years, so I am sure he has done more than just webOS

    webOS is pretty nice though
