Hi everyone,
I know there's a smsexporter in the forum, but it seems nobody know how to use it. I tried the method in the thread, but didn't work.

Also the gogarchive can export to a csv file, but with all the call details and chat...etc. and I don't know if there's a easier way to extract only sms out of the file. It just too hard to do with more than 1000 sms.

can anyone give some idea how to do it?

It seems I work it out myself again. Thanks all the poster.
here's what I did
download smsexporter from here

use the code from here,

but the
Code:
cp /home/user/MyDocs/smsexporter
should have
Code:
/home/user/
at the end.

so the correct code is
Code:
cd /home/user/
cp /home/user/MyDocs/smsexporter /home/user/
chmod +x smsexporter
then type
Code:
./smsexporter backup.csv
You can see the smsexporter backup.csv is in /home/user and you can use FileBox to copy it out to /home/user/MyDocs/ so you can copy the backup.csv to your computer.
