Does anybody know if this BT keyboard will work on the 770?

iGo Stowaway Ultra-Slim Bluetooth Keyboard

It's not listed as a compatible device on their website:

But many Nokia mobiles are.

it would be so simple if they would just print "bluetooth HID compatible" somewhere...

Couldn't find any mention specific to the 770, hence the question.

On the forum for a clone product (a Dell-branded model), somebody mentioned that they got it working with their 770. So it looks like it's good to go. Incidentally, if you're in the UK and considering getting this keyboard, there's a Dell-branded clone that's £5 cheaper.

From what I read, I'm probably going to need the bluetooth driver from Maemo.org. Will this affect how well my 770 works with its bluetooth GPS unit?

This KB does:

You'll need the BT driver. This doesn't effect the use of maemo-mapper and a BT GPS - however, I've never attempted to use both at the same time.

Just to confirm this, yes, the keyboard works fine. It doesn't seem to want to pair with my particular 770 but it's recognised instantly as soon as it's turned on, or when the 770's cover is removed.

It's also a pretty good keyboard -- effectively it's a subset of standard laptop keyboard, with the same sized keys and roughly the same kind of tactile feedback.

FWIW it also works fine with my MacBook.
