yay..fixed it...seems like the hidden option is to press and hold 0 which is the maemo boot option...woo..scared me!!!

Try pushing 0 or b key when it asks to press a key

I am experiencing right now, problem to install this.
My internet is connects, but I can't download the damn NitDroid-0.0.8-Popov.tar.bz2 file.
All the treads I found about installing in manually, only refers if you already have nitdroid, what I don't.
I am tryign this for around 5 hours, believe me, I am really tired..
