Hi! Anyone successfully got Sygic MM10 with Malaysia map working?

I keep getting "No maps available. Check you memory card."

nope. it doesn't exist. your best bet for m'sian users is
    1. buy Sygic MM 10 for Canada (this is the cheapest version).
    2. buy Sygic for Android for SEA

then, copy the maps from your Android version into your /home/user/MyDocs/Maps folder.

so we end up paying TWICE for something that Sygic already has. this sounds like daylight robbery to me.

i'd rather just pay once for the Android version and then look for a hack for Sygic MM 10 to run on Maemo, but that would be technically illegal.

Buy the Android map and then download Sygic 10 free from OVi. Done!

Contact Sygic for licensing transfer then you all set to go.

maxximuscool - noted. just venting some frustration.

chivar - getting the maps means we have to pay for it.

i guess the suggestoin about asking sygic for licensing transfer is probably the way to go.

sorry that you're misinformed. The sygic 9 maps work fine with mm10 in fact both a malaysia map, as well as a combined map for a few countries in se-asia are available. i've been using the latter since april of this year. please get your facts straight before bashing Sygic. the maps aren't as detailed as garmin maps, and lack some POIs, however work is underway by a msian user to update the current sygic m'sia map . check out this screenshot :
