put it in root not in Documents

Root folder is first folder when u open file manager

donot forget this before the files name when u install it
dpkg -i

ok what is wrong here....

when i download those lib files from this site they arent deb files?
they apear in the mydocs as unknown files (a square whit a questionmark). if i try to install them whit dpkg -i they cannot be found.
and if i change the name to example: lib1.deb and try to install them by clicking them in the mydocs-> app manager tryes to install them and fails couse they are "broken" files.

can the files somehow get broken when i download them from here?
and thats why i get that unknown error?

semsem900 you need to go to the application manage and install rootsh. once you have done that then the command "sudo gainroot" will work

install libgssp-1.0-1 first then libgupnp second. once both have installed amsn will install!

if you go into filemanager and if you have a memory card you need to open the N900 folder do you see them there? if so what symbol do they have?
if they aren't there, you need to move them there and the symbol should be a white circle with a red spiral in it (see the attatched image)
if all that is ok, are you upto date using pr1.2?
when i download those 2 files they are like that snowboarding file that you have (square box whit quetionmark)

do you guys get them as i did?
