I attempted porting the GLX GPU plugin to GLES, but it's impossible. It heavily relies on OpenGL glBegin/glEnd pipeline which is not present in OpenGL ES.
Getting it up means rewriting most of the code which is a titanic work without being familiar with internal workings of PSX GPU chip.
I do wonder why they didn't keep backwards compatibility with the fixed pipeline. I suppose the only alternative that's even close to a port is to facade all of the gl(insert name here) functions and write your own matrix stack, then of course write the corresponding shaders.. which is relatively time consuming and probably defeats the purpose of a port in the first place.
