Hello people.

I am new in this site, so I hope you guys be patient with me :P

Well, I have been trying very hard to work with Ovi Maps.. but unfortunately I did not achieve it. So, I heard from Mappero and I tried it. And I have to tell that it's amazing!

However, I have some questions I would like you guys answer me: How can I do to work with it witouth the Internet connection? Even when I turn Internet off and I open mappero, it asks me for a conecttion. If I don't do it, I cannot set up a destination, for instance.

And second... I don't know if I downloaded an old version for my N900, but this one doesn't seem it has voices included, and on top of that, I don't know how to display the route into the navigation one...

Please, help!! I really need a navigator! :^

Mappero needs an Internet connection to do routing (and re-routing) if you haven't choose a route before going offline. Also it requires the Internet for downloading maps unless you've downloaded the maps along the route ahead of time.

Can it use the maps from Ovi map?

you can download the maps but you can't download the routing unless you manage to download all the data from googles routing db (it probably doesn't fit to any storage you can fit to N900)...

Let's see... I love Ovi Maps, the problem is that when I turn Internet off, I cannot use it like a navigation system!

Of course, it allows me to see the map, but I cannot set up routes and anything like that.... ( the most important thing)

Somebody has a tutorial or something to follow the steps? I do it with MAc....
