Cause maybe i wont like the new MeeGo stuff and i kinda love MAEMO right now so i might wanna use the wonderful new specs of the new device but with my favourite OS...What do you think?

In this case, you will "only" need a MeeGo compatible version of the Hildon-Desktop. That should give you the Maemo 5 UI you are used to.
(AFAIK there are already people working on it.)
will it be possible to have MAEMO run on the new MeeGo device?
Like an updated version with that multitouch magic support?
Cause maybe i wont like the new MeeGo stuff and i kinda love MAEMO right now so i might wanna use the wonderful new specs of the new device but with my favourite OS...What do you think?
