Okay

Everything is now working. Only need to package it and first public test version is ready. Now I only need to decide how to include the modded hildon-home... maybe I just include the binary in the package, copy the original to some safe place so I can restore it when user uninstalls the customizer?

Awesome! Yeah, I think there are two possible routes... one is including it.. the other is to use dropbox. The custom hildon-home are not that big so including it might be best way. It makes thing easier and is more safe that way.

A warning should also be applied.. that it will be changed. In case someone using another custom hildon-home.

theme-customizer (0.5) is now @ extras-devel:
http://repository.maemo.org/extras-d...er_0.5_all.deb

During install a backup of your hildon-home.launch -file is created and it's restored when you uninstall the package.

All other files that are modified by the customizer are also backed up for auto restoring. Backups are created under /opt/theme-customizer/backups/

Known issues:
- when user chooses NOT to reboot automaticly, sometimes hildon-home won't start up or there's a ~20 seconds delay before all shortcuts re-appears on desktop. This is not serious, reboot fixes it.
