Hello!

I managed using the desktop command execution widget create a loop of the killall hildon-home script. So the phone is looping the thing a couple of times until the phone reboots. What would be the easiest way to get rid of this loop?

Thanks,
Kim

Using the DECW i created a own command that it runs. The plan was to make a button that would execute the line killall hildon-home when pressed. But now it runs the line all the time so you cant do anything with the phone.. Is there any command to e.g remove all widgets from the desktop so it would now run the thing all the time?

ouch! you made it update on every event.. i do not know what it is but you should be able to kill DECW. Or change it in the config file.

If nothing else you could uninstall it.

1. ctrl+shift+x (for terminal)
2. sudo gainroot
3. apt-get remove desktop-cmd-exec

You can remove all DECW, by removing the config file
.desktop_cmd_exec

on terminal:

rm /home/user/.desktop_cmd_exec

and reboot you device.

You need to choose Y in your own language.. like for me who is swedish "yes" means "ja". So i choose "J"

But do as Nicolai proposed.. it's easier. You could also edit the file with leafpad if you have it installed.

leadpad /home/user/.desktop_cmd_exec
