I have pidgin installed and have Yahoo account working but have a problem. I can read messages, see which buddies are on line and send smileys but i can not type a message. The keyboard does not show up. I can not see anyway to bring it up while signed in to yahoo on pidgin. I was able to use yahoo with pidgin until I updated. I tried reinstalling pidgin but no help. Please help.

Have you tried dragging near the bottom of the window with the stylus to see if the text area is just not expanded?

Yes I have. I have tried to move the window over or up but it won't move. I see no evidence that the keyboard is showing up at all.

Hi, I had the same issue. There is a small latch like option right at the bottom center. Try dragging that down and that should do it

My bet is that one of the files it saves in the /home/user/.purple directory is messed up. If you have xterm installed, try renaming/moving it like :

Code:
mv /home/user/.purple /home/user/.purple-orig
Then launch Pidgin.

If it loads up fine, then you can exit it and try putting back some of your original files (like accounts.xml) to save yourself some re-config time.

Thanks it is working now. Are there any good games that will work on N800? So far the ones I have working are lame other than Mahjong which is OK.
