Did you try rebooting the device? I've noticed that sometimes my N900 does the same thing, and a reboot always fixes it for me
....i even tried different codes but also no use....i don't want to send it to any Nokia center here because i sent an older mobile of mine before and it became worse so i really don't know what to do!

as they dont make the n900 anymore. im affaid that getting a ReFERB
model is to be expected. and like you say its a gamble.
but it sounds to me like you have dropped it 1 to many times and maybe the weight on the vibro motor is jammed or the motor has given up?
did a health check bring anylight?
I tried different codes and the health check program but no use!
Is there any idea on how to solve this problem on my own because there is no qualified agent here in my country to fix N900.
Thanks a lot! =)
