I've been searching Google for a command that will allow me to set only the maximum frequency without tampering with the minimum and so far i was not lucky finding any that will actually work

example of what i need:
Code:
kernel-config limits *min* 850
or anything

please any help would be highly appreciated

echo 1000000 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq

You can replace 1000000 with whatever valid frequency step you want.

thats a lot of effort when you can just run the kernel-config limits command,
if you want fast access to kernel speeds just make a few profiles and load them or you can set them up with the desktop command widget for one touch control
