after merging many contacts I can't find some anymore on my Google contacts account, which I sync with N900 through Nuevasync.

I would like to try to restore the previous situation. How can I unmerge contacts I prevoiusly merged?

Well, that's an important issue. There should be an easy way to go back to the standard contact book.

In my case, after syncing, I lost on Google Contacts several merged contacts. That's why I really need to go back to previous state. I looked everywhere but I could not find a solution.

Interesting. I found this thread because I was trying to find a way to keep my contacts merged after sync.

My company runs Zimbra, and I have to use Mail For Exchange to sync data. I can't use merged contacts because every time I sync with MfE it breaks the merging.

So I think for you the solution would be using MfE to sync to Google (or anything else) and it might "break" the merged contacts.

Now that I help you, you help me. So are you saying that if you sync your contacts using NuevaSync the merging never gets lost?
