Not too sure about that. OVI store 2.0 isn't written in Qt and i don't think we see much of this "Symbian got it so Maemo will have it too" before the Qt written services and softwares are starting roll out from Nokia. Hopefully when the N9 comes out those things start to happen.
hopefully Nokia wants to test these new versions and has them ready for the N9 launch, or shortly thereafter. That would mean testing on the closest platform, no? What better than the N900?
Actually, the US store has been out of N900s for some time. Dell's stock has also been gone for 3 or 4 weeks, and they've been selling N900s for about a year.
I got mine used on Amazon =D! Only 330USD!
PR1.3 is out there, and it should be released soon. As far as I've gathered, we get flash 10.1, Qt, and minor bug fixes.
