another facebook widget would be great, the default one doesnt even show the entire status, it cuts off after a couple lines!

I reinstalled FaceBrick but i still get this when i try to logon:
Error loading newsfeed 5: (unathourized ip adress)
Could this fix be included in an updated FaceBrick deb?

I tried to update with the new facebook lib but there was a conflict

Anything else i can try?

My facebrick has suddenly gone a bollock.

i open it, i get the login screen which i usually tap above, it then just pops up for a second then closes... any ideas??

tried reinstalling but no joy.

I don't think this is Facebrick's problem unfortunately, so I'm not sure what I can do. We can't request any specific language, we just ask Facebook to display the login page. My guess is that they show a language based on the country they think your IP comes from.

Have you tried logging out and logging back in again (click the title bar -> log out)? Since you have reinstalled it, you should have the latest libqfacebook library already.

is this the *only* way to login to facebook? i'm wondering how the built-in facebook widget does logins to pull status updates, and also how the iphone facebook app does it. these apps don't go through a web page login.
