Hmmm, just tried to bring my fCAM DNGs into Apple Aperture and.....the program doesn't seem to be able to read the files though they are easily readable by Photoshop. Any suggestions about a conversion which would make them readable in Aperture?
OK, I found a solution but it's weird to me that the FCam DNG files are not universally readable. I used Adobe DNG Converter (freeware) to convert the Nokia DNGs to Adobe DNGs, and the new versions are now readable by Aperture. Just back from an extended camping trip in Scotland, and it's hard to complain about the quality of the photos - given all the built-in limitations - lens quality, resolution, D Max, etc. (2 images attached)
You can just view them in FCamera - it's relatively basic but you do see the whole image on screen. Just swipe up from the viewfinder, in case you weren't aware that you can do that.
