I have asked nokia to deliver the update b4 october 31st..
i told them-" where there is a will, there is a way..and where there is me therz no other way..so better deliver it soon "

What fixes? Are these available in a repository? Most people won't use these fixes unless they are available in firmware.

The amount of unofficial tweaks I have to make to a vanilla OS to get a respectable battery uptime is embarrassing, and many times unofficial packages are not easily installable as .deb or break things.

This community could really use something like a PPA like Launchpad uses. Not that it'd solve everything I mentioned though.
