Is this rule still in place?

Please don't get me wrong: I'm all for non-English ressources, I'd love to have maemo.org open for people who don't speak or understand English... But I'd like to know what the rules are. (I could aggregate my non-English blog as well, couldn't I?)
Recently there's a mixture of languages in the feed, some of which my RSS-reader doesn't even have the fonts for.

If it's still English only, then please, play by the rules. If the rule no longer applies, let's remove it from the "Aggregate your blog"-page and think about implementing one feed per language.

That's a good question, one I expect the new council should take up.

It's a tough dilemma-- I can see equally valid points on both ends of the situation. Ideally we would have in-line translation tools, but lacking them, second best would be volunteer translators and a way of prominently linking translations to the original posts...

I only spot one non-english feed in the first few pages, but I will bring this to the council's attention. I suspect we may want a short debate about the iddue.

please ask to aggregate your blog only if your blog platform supports different feed for each category (just like Wordpress does) and only if you're going to write all Maemo related posts in english language, just like I've done with my website: http://www.andreagrandi.it/

I've also post in italian language, but only this category is aggregated on Planet Maemo http://www.andreagrandi.it/category/maemo-en/

    Regards.

Yes, AFAIK. No-one's proposed changing it that I've seen, I wonder if the posts which have been showing up have been on a recently added feed or if the author has changed how they're posting.

Thx for the answers. One of the posts seems to be gone - I don't even know what language that was. So you're not gonna read my blog posts. You sure miss something, I tell you.
