bad: people sell there device, nokia loses more customers
How have Nokia lost a customer if someone sells the device they bought off Nokia in the first place? It's not like the money disappears out of Nokia's coffers when someone sells their phone.
so no new rumors are started i just want to clarify everything i said in my last post was false and i have not tested PR 1.3 out and have no idea how far along it is.
many people will know i was joking but many others wont and it will end up being a put on blog as fact if i did not say anything.

If that person could've & would've bought a brand new phone directly from Nokia, then they've lost a sale.
I have now come to the conclusion that the N900 is more-or-less a testing device for Nokia and other big organisations.
For instance, Adobe used the N900 to show Flash 10.10 running on a mobile device. But look at us! We, end-users, are still waiting for Flash 10.10.
I'm awaiting a Nokia N8, which I intend to use on a daily basis, and well, the N900 is just there to play around with (I am studying to become a software engineer)...
It doesn't make sense. The N900 is an amazing device, and there is no denying init, but software-wise, the end-users are relying on the Maemo Community, as Nokia can't be bothered to provide regular updates for Maemo (I have had 2 updates for my E52 within a period of 2 months).
Well.. Don't get me wrong, I still trust Nokia to provide the PR1.3, but we shouldn't be relying on them to do miracles.
Now if we knew there would be an update that would take all of the run out of it. Kind of annoying though in that I would buy a Mugen battery if I knew that there would be more Nokia support for this phone (yes I call it a phone).
I have moved the twenty-three posts that made up the flash defragmenting sub-thread started by maxximuscool to their own thread: "[Maemo 5] Request: eMMC & micro SD flash card defragmenter". Please continue that discussion there. It is off-topic for this thread.
