-extract
-and then copy all files to their appropriate directories (I prefer using WinSCP)

SR Smilies.def goes to
/usr/share/rtcom-messaging-ui/smilies/user

skype.def
/usr/share/rtcom-Messaging-ui/smilies/service

Pics 48x48.png go to
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/hildon

Pics 24x24.png go to
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/24x24/hildon

-now in Conversations under Settings -> Smileys Theme - choose "SR Smilies"

And you're done!!!

I have a problem. N900 does not seem to recognize the symbol of :((

:(( <---this is a crying face icon for Yahoo messenger. But N900 displays a sad face with (

OR

:)) <---this is a laughing face icon for Yahoo messenger. N900 displays a happy face with )

I can not fix it!! Anyone know?
It seems like N900 ONLY recoginze :) or :( and NOT :)) or :((

1. Open the file SR Smilies.def with the editor
2. delete:) : (etc. however then can smilie-read only:)) : ((however no more:) : (
3. it stop beta and everyone must adapt for itself individually! contained however nearly everything spoke ......

Was ist mit folgendem Satz gemeint?:

Heisst dass, bevor man eine SMS schreibt, muss man immer unter Einstelleungen die Smilies auswählen? Werden diese nicht zu den Standard-Smiles hinzugefügt?

i'm new. where are those places (/usr/share/rtcom-messaging-ui/smilies/user and other 3). i downloaded 2 zip files and unzip it, but i can't find the places.

install a program called FileBox, you will understand what to do after you have it. the directories you cannot see now will become visible to you with this program.

To simplify...

To get all these smilies:

1 - Download zip attached
2 - extract "usr" folder to root directory, replacing all files (BACKUP FIRST)
3 - reboot
4 - go to Conversations > Settings > Smileys Theme > select "SR Smilies"
5 - done

All I have done is repackage the original MOD. Nothing else.
