    This must be official? http://meego.com/community/blogs/har...o-calling-n900

Specifically: "On the Maemo side, there have been interesting, supporting developments going on, as well. The PR 1.3 update is quite close now, and with that you can easily dual boot between Maemo and Meego on your N900."

Yay PR1.3 is so close but yet so far away.. MeeGo is so far far away but yet so even more far far away..

All just rumours about the release date of this, people claimed to be the beta testers of Nokia PR1.3 but I don't believe them until I see it myself.

Dual booting official firmware! I wonder if PR1.3 is our salvation? Nokia may just redeem themselves with this

Is it me or Harri Hakulinen mention that N900 might have a future with the MeeGo support?

There is also a possibility of developing applications supporting both operating systems, based on Qt and Qt Mobility APIs on the Maemo side. It means that you can develop once in PC with Qt Creator, and test your applications on both Maemo and MeeGo, directly on your N900 device!
Did he mention drivers o.O YAY!! Can we get a hold of those drivers

See you there, with MeeGo on N900,
    I hope this is true

All of the drivers necessary to make MeeGo work on the N900 are available and redistributable. BME and PowerVR drivers aren't available in source form, but you don't have to log into any website with your IMEI for them.

At some point. It will probably be usable on the N900 in an easily acquired fashion with 1.2, and available to those willing to use weeklies some time before that.

Yeah I have been smoking a lot of Fish and bacon lately
    Not to mention Salmon.

Hey I am hoping to see the PR1.3 and dual booting MeeGO very soon. But how soon is I don't have a clue. can't the community customising the final version of MeeGo 1.1 like the NitDroid? It would be very interested to have both OS working along side.

So Nokia is working on a dualbooting solution for N900 right? that sound intrigued but I wander how will this work? I'm suspecting a nice layout GUI boot interface Love this idea. Or Boot from PR1.3 there is an option say boot to MeeGO (OtherOS like PS3).

Common Nokia let PR1.3 go, she needs to be free on our N900s.

You... could. But it's lacking in features that make it truly useful for mobile purposes including (IIRC) power management, and it's definitely missing a GUI for configuring mobile data.

Personally, MeeGo 1.1 is still going to be for developers who want to get started now, and it'll be easier to work with with PR1.3 (or so Harri says.)

Of course, it'll be more interesting as MeeGo 1.2 approaches.

This rather sound good and a good news indeed. Looks like N900 might be on the ship to official MeeGo if Nokia being a kind father to it. But I think it is great to developing MeeGo support to N900 because N900 is running the low spec OMAP3 processor and that would prove to be the case of minimum spec requirement for MeeGo to work properly. Which at the same time providing Nokia and other company an option to build a cheap version of the high end devices with lower spec Processors and hardware to target average users. And higher spec for specs lover like the symbian devices.

If MeeGo flies then we will see a bright future with the N900. Nokia please showing some love on the N900. We have been patiently waiting for your PR1.3 and MeeGO..

Please touch2focus on N900 in PR1.3 lol.. *Greedy*
