Hey jaeezzy. After you posted this question, I was curious as to where this icon was stored too. I know that D4rKlar has already answered this question correctly (of course) for you, and you probably already have it sorted from that by now, but I thought I would just show you that when I changed the icon under-

    usr/share/icons/hicolor/18x18/hildon/general_alarm_on

-It changed the icon that you wanted. It should be here regardless of theme I think. Anyway, here's a screenshot just to show you.

Hey your desktop looks great. What is that data plan monitor widget? And could you share that HTC png?

    Some yes, some no.
I have been trying to get the maker of the Personal IP and Personal Dataplan monitor to rebuild their widgets with transparent backgrounds for me but they have not replied to my pm's. I understand they might be busy doing other things.
From what I have found out, it is something which has to coded into the widget prior to build. There is no png image to edit to make them clear.

Anyway, I went ahead and photoshopped Nicolai's ConnectNow widget icons so they had a transparent background. I actually di them some time ago and they might be available in an older post.

If you want them you can download them.

    Edit**
    They go in usr/share/icons/hicolor/96x96/hildon

    You will find:-
    - 3 Meego theme wallpapers
    - 2 Meego fonts
    - Primary Meego App Logos

As suggest earlier, works best when using Pleego theme (by D-livil). His colours and other icons are superb!

How to use those icons (App logos)? Can you help me how?

You need root access to your phones files. If you plan on modifying other parts of the phone, the easiest and prob most convenient way is to use WinScp on your PC and SSH setup on the N900. Google if you need directions.

Once you can see your root directory you want to replace the icons from this directory:

    /usr/share/icons/hicolor/64x64/hildon

If you drag and drop the icons from my post they should just replace the original so best to first make a copy of the whole folder named "hildon". This way you can go back to originals when you get bored/change your mind etc.

Let me know if you need further clarification.

Unless he's using a theme with its own images, like black plastic, in which case it'll be usr/share/theme/icons/64x64

I think that the icons should be included with the Pleego theme.
