Try your sim card in another phone.

This happened to my wife & it wasn't the phone - it was the sim card.

Thaks for your reply . I have a AT&T go phone sim card and it works well with the phone it came with.

Is this a problem with my phone or with the At&T sim.?

AT&T is famous for its call dropping feature, thank for telling us by using AT&T Go Phone can solve the problem. ;p

Setiously, I'd also like to know if you got the same problem with other smartphones.

I haven't tried my sim on other smartphones, so don't know if it will work. Will try my phone with some other sim and see if the problem persists .
