What happened to it?

Did you change something or has it just run out of battery and is now refusing to turn back on?

Not enough information and with that information you gave us here I don't think we will be able to help you at all. You need to be clear and precise of what you did.

I just got it back from service for the exact same problem and I was in the process of returing it again, but the mail service returned it to me and I though I'd give looking into it myself before I send it away again.

I originaly thought it was completely dead, but seeing the yellow led light up gave me some hope.

And no, it's not the battery. Its refusing to take charge from a normal charger.

I installed some extras - testing apps, but as far as I know its not bricked in the sense that it cant boot normally. Theres just no response when i press the power button.

Does the yellow light stay on or does it blink/pulse? What happens when you plug the device into its wall charger?

Corretion - It refused to take charge from a normal charger, when i tried it yesterday. Now I get the same yellow light with tha wall charger.

Its a constant light, not a puls.

1. remove the back cover

2. remove the battery totally from the phone

3. put the battery back in

4. replace the cover

5. turn the phone back on as normal

sounds like the battery is so dead the charging circuit isn't allowing the battery to charge.

Put it in R+D mode and leave it connected to a pc via USB for a few hours to charge.

Alright, so i removed the battery and plugged the charger in and i still have the yellow light.

Shouldnt I then be able to turn the device on?
