You can't turn the N900 on without battery, even it plugged into power. If you can find someone with 5800 then you can borrow his battery and put your battery in his to rule out your battery problem. If it works on his phone then your battery is fine.


Put his battery and start charging and turn it on. Or you can do a full flash method. It might make the device works once again.

Worst scenario is Nokia did something silly to your device and broke the N900. Lol. This is just the silly thought that's all. lol

OK, thanks. I'll leave it to charge over night and if its still dead tomorrow, I'll just send it back to the care point..
