Hi All,

The calendar sync of office outlook between N900 seems have problem. The time is 3 hrs before then I set in outlook (eg: 9am event become 6 am event). I tried to use PC site or BT sync, but the result is same.

Does anybody know how to solve it?

no, I can sync successfully by using Nokia PC Site, the only issue is, may event start time is 3 hrs ahead of my Outlook event (eg: I added 1 event start at 9 am in outlook, but after sync to N900, it show 6 am !!! )

The problem is, I've just added around 20 events todays in my outlook, now, I need to amend it all in my N900 and I have no idea what will happen after next sync.

Could it be that your computer is on a different time zone when compared to the selected time zone on your N900?

I used to sync via Ovi Suite and it was fine.

I checked the time zone is all "Hong Kong" in my notebook & N900

I tried to use Ovi Suite to sync contact & calendar, but it was not successful. But it works for Nokia PC Suite.

I've just found from Here, it mentioned:

UTC start date in Unix Time Format (number of seconds since 01/01/1970)
Do you think it cause by N900 use "UTC" time but Windows use "GMT" time?

Since UTC is a format used to represent a time, it shouldn't create problems with the time zones such as GMT.

Have you tried updating your version of OVI suite? I have version 2.2.1.23.

I use Nokia PS suite, not Ovi.

Why not give Ovi Suite a try? its not all that great, but if it helps with your sync issues its good enough.

I also have this issue with my Outlook and N900. All my meetings are moved to 3 hours earlier on my N900.

It gets annoying that you are awaken at 5:45AM for a meeting reminder!

anybody can help?
