    Install swappolube, it'll help with the battery. Also, consider installing conky to see what processes are using CPU.

    if your intrested overclocking might help in a dramtic way
    if you find it risky then atleast consider it
    am writting a script that will end this battery sucking problem
    uploading it tommorw hopefully
    my battery usualy last 1 day under mid-heavy use
    but now cause of the script am using .i saved upto 50% as it should be flat out empty by now but i still got 50%

    and here is the location of the battery saving script here

    please dont use it now as its highly unstable
    the stable version will be uploaded tommorow after 18hours exactly

    as i said it added 50% to my battery life

    If you have ApMeFo or catorize, there's a glitch that makes hildon-desktop -always- take 2% cpu(even after uninstall of the app). This eats through battery significantly; if you notice hildon-desktop showing up via conky all the time, you may want to install this patched version.
    Also, putting the phone into airplane mode/offline mode increases battery life a LOT. But, it also removes your ability to receive calls, so...
