If you own a N900 you should file the teeth of the microUSB connectors of your cables, otherwise you'll end up with the USB socket of your phone falling off.
Since the USB port of the N900 is extremely delicate, I bought an Amazebreak device (one of those zillion clones of PSGroove) for like $20. I updated it with Hermes v4 and works fine. The N900 is too expensive to plug/unplug it to the PS3 thousand of times in my opinion.
hmmm, i dont notice much of a difference, i still cant play moh without it prompting for 3.42, still cant play any rockband via usb, still have to use a ps3 game in the drive to play a backup.....
To play without a disc in drive, first you select your game in your backup manager, it goes back to XMB, and then select the option "/apps_home/PS3_GAME" (just above "Install Packages"). Are you doing that? because it took me like 2 or 3 days of intense forums reading to figure that out.
