Ok, most of us won't have an palm pre, so is there an other legal way to get the games?

the us palm page provides an "Send to phone" option for some apps
did anybody try to type in the number of an n900?

EA provides a similar option on there webpage, but i'm afraid to try because only US carriers are listed in the availability check.

Guys i am a complete noob when it comes to xterminal! can someone please help me to install nfsu? i pasted the folder in user.
whenever i try to chmod+rwx, it says file cannot be found but i have checked and the file is still there! and do i have to install the libgl thing?

I always get a Segmentation fault when I try to launch NFSUC.

Will try again...all over and over.

did you update to pr1.3? i think its because of that

PR 1.3 broke preenv. I reinstalled everything as before but the games crash on startup.

can you give me info on how to start preenv and a tutorial maybe?
i have tried for over 3 hours pasting commnads in the x term but still no luck running anything. it would be cool if the process was a little easy. after i execute the chmod rwx+ command xterminal says no such directory or file found. Help me please i am going mad - finally my n900 can play games which can be easily played on its hardware

PR 1.3 broke preenv. I reinstalled everything as before but the games crash on startup.
Do not confirm. I run PR1.3 and preenv. NFSU works great!

First of all a great thanks to the author of preenv. Really amazing work!
Second, I would like to hear the opinion which way would be more preffered:
1) Create static .deb file for each playable webOs game.
2) Create application what would take .ipk file copied to phone and install it onto local n900 device.
3) Create Palm Pre .ipk -> Maemo5 .deb converter to allow users create and redistribute .debs

I think 2) choice is the better one.

Quick suggestion: if you use this solution, you'll need to issue "umount /mnt/nfsu" before you are able to use USB mass storage option.

Even after umounting the file, my N900 refused to mount via USB until I rebooted it, even though lsof | grep /mnt showed nothing.
Thanks! I noticed that as well. Don't know yet how to solve but will try to find the answer.

anwar71839....It doesnt work right now with the new firmware .. so we need to wait for a new version
