It does, but only in small number of applications. Was there an annoying red light before when the front camera is active ?

I have no idea why, may be for Skype and yahoo? But all Nokia phones used to have front camera for taking picture and video call. Now there isn't a video call functionality in N900 other than Skype. So I guess the camera is there just for show?

Nokia is going to says, we can put camera anywhere we would feel like. The camera is there just to make the damn thing look good in the specs sheet.

I think we can somehow hack the damn thing to make it work? After all there is only limited by application limitation. If we somewhat modifying the phone app (assumed that we got the source code).
