I think Ovi maps has gotten better, I'm from the Caribbean and now I can actually see land marks like hotels and the tourism centre, never got this before, directions still suck, but other maps never worked for me either, either way I don't need maps.
Things I have noticed apart from the overall speediness.
1) Fix to the FM tags displayed when using fm transmitter. Now shows Artist/Song like it used to pre 1.2. Also refreshes song text completely - doest leave old titles behind.
2) FM transmitter seems stronger. Or perhaps just audio is better. Found I was able to listen to stream at much lower volumes than I normally do.
for me it came with a bug. upon charging while device was off I woke up to find that when I unplugged and held the power button nothing happened. when I tapped it, it told me swipe to unlock and turns out my phone was on for 4hrs meaning during 1hr of chrging it booted up. I did the math. Also upon pressing the status bar, it showed USB charging only while not connected at all, long txt msgs don't show up due to a character limit I guess. I never had issues with my n900 but now I got a couple.
I really HATE Ovi Suite, i want to make a back up for the last 3 houres, it keeps buging thats is doing somethinge els, an that i have to wait, tried everything, really the baddest program i have ever seen!!!!
What sucks is that my phone died, then they send me the beta test information for Ovi Suite 3, and now they've released PR1.3. Still waiting on my replacement N900.
