after doing the update all my mails from my exchange server are marked unread, even tho they're read on the server, and were read before the update.. any ideas how to fix?

I had the same.

Did a full resynchronization (open settings -> end of the list there is a button) and all got fixed.

All functions are way faster now, the folders (I have like a hundred) appear almost instantaneous and mails open really fast.

It has become much more bearable the mail application.
