Hey all, biggest complaint with my n900.. I typically stay in wifi environment with the phone set to gsm. But in an emergency I will need 3g out of my phone for tethering. Problem is, it will keep hopping from 3g to 3.5 constantly, with a huge delay in data connection between switches.

How do I stop this? 3g is fine. It's happened in numerous areas, and always had plenty of signal. Can I lock it to 3g in some way so it won't ever go 3.5?

just like the switch from 2 to 2.5g (in another thread, can't locate it), i dont think this is much under your own control :S. I'd like to be proved wrong though!
