That's the IMEI number, not the product code.

Nope, and be prepared for a long wait - previous releases have been delayed for months, with no indication of why (and nobody's yet even found any real differences between the firmware variants).

what gets to me the most is the fact Nokia haven't come out and said this is the reason its delayed

if there was something added and lets just say for example BBC Iplayer was being implemented in a maemo specific app then fair enough im happy to wait but as i can imagine this isnt the case i think a valid reason should be given

Does anyone know the difference between the UK and the Global firmware? I'm tempted to flash the global firmware as the other updates have been blocked.

I was on Vodafone firmware, but I reflashed to the Global, and dont have problems anymore. You should do the same

I got my N900 from Vodafone with product code 0595421, I have already reflashed my device and am now using firmware - 10.2010.19-1.203.1. I am unable to see the update via OTA, NSU or Ovi Suite. I spoke to OviByNokia on twitter asking why I am unable to see the update, they responded by saying -

"N900 update not available yet for all codes. Check App manager -> Update just in case. New codes will be added, hopefully soon."

I then asked if there was an ETA for the update to become and they responded with this -

"No specific ETA, but you shouldn't be kept waiting long. You can use http://bit.ly/dDm0XD to find the latest version for your code"

I'm hoping Nokia releases the update sooner rather than later.

thanks Ginge52 for prodding nokia on this one my n900 is a replacement direct from nokia after my usb port fell out of original one so it is not associated with any network at all

all other variants of the firmware are available (india usa middle east and affrica) what is so special or different about the uk version that justifys this delay

What firmware were you originally on and what Global firmware did you flash to? I think i'm going to give in and reflash to the Global firmware.
