With the new mapping functionality of the 2008 OS, what happens to those who purchased Navicore?

You enter the Navicore serial, and activate wayfinder with nearly same features....

Wayfinder purchased Navicore in July 2007 - existing Navicore licenses are valid in Wayfinder software, including that in the N810.

exapnsys offers it for 100 Euros for the 770 with :
    - car holder for 770
    - Nokia Bluetooth GPS LD-3W with car charger (charger compatible with 770 N800 and I suppose N810 and many new Nokia phones)
    - 1 Gb Mobile MMC
    - Navicore software
And you can transfer your licence to N800 if you want to ...
Go to Expansys and search for 770 Navigation

I have 2 N800. Can I buy one Nav. Kit and install Navicore on both N800 and use the same LicenseCode?

I don't think so : The software checks the licence on Navicore's web site ...

This is from navicore personal manual:

"...According to the licensing terms of Navicore Personal, it is allowed to use the program on only one Internet Tablet at a time. To prevent unauthorised copying, the product is linked to your Internet Tablet device during license activation. You can transfer the license to a new Internet Tablet by following the instructions below:
The Navicore Personal licence can be transferred to a new Internet Tablet, but note that you first need to deactivate the license from the Internet Tablet that is currently using the same license
Go to Navicore: About product > Deactivate license. The license key is deactivated using a network connection and released to be activated with a new Internet Tablet.
Transfer your Navicore Personal memory card to the new Internet Tablet, install Navicore Personal and start the application.. Navicore Personal automatically prompts you to re-activate the product with your license key.
Note that the number of times the license may be transferred to another Internet Tablet within a month is limited
The End User License Agreement does not allow the use of the product with two or more Internet Tablets simultaneously. If such use is desired, all devices involved must have a separate licence..."

The licence can be deactivated from one device and activated on the other at choice, I had a N800 that had been stolen with a navicore licence from my old n770 and Navicore support transferred the licence from the stolen device to the old one again immediately. Very nice support.
The limit is that you cannot use Navicore on both devices at same time, as perfectly explained by jaros quoting the manual. The verification of the key is made online, and so for transferring the licence from one device to another you have to be connected. There is some sort of DRM that check licence serial and associate it with your device (perhaps with the mac address of the device)
