I used to use these all the time on my Ipaq.

Is there a company that makes one specific to the n800??

I guess I meant a RECOMMENDED one.

Thanks for the Google lesson. I always wondered what it did.

I can recommend the Martin Fields screen protectors. I have them fitted on both my 770 and my Nokia 7710 phone - and there is one marketed for the N800 too. They are low-tack and do not leave any residue on the screen. They are also slightly thicker than some protectors I've seen and are very hard wearing - the one on my 7710 has been on almost 3 years! They tend to be slightly more expensive than other makes, but well worth it.

I picked up a set of Fellowes brand covers at Best Buy today. They come w/ graph paper style backing so you cut to measure.

I was unhappy w/ my first four attempts though .

1. Bubbles
2. Crooked/fingerprint
3. Fingerprint/hair (I dropped it!)
4. Cut TOO perfect, and it slid under the bezel a bit, so my taskbar kept getting activated.

I will try again later after some rest.

Brando is one of the best IMHO: http://shop.brando.com.hk and pick the "classic" one, ultra clear is practically a mirror..

I picked up some cheap ones on eBay for $.99 plus shipping. They are thin and washable.

You do get what you pay for though. there are a few bubbles in mine, although after a day or two, most of the bubbles dissapear. But The thing that bugs me the most, is that the stylus does not slide as easy on the protector, as it did on the plain screen. its like the protector is soft, or a little sticky, so its harder to slide the stylus.

I don't know how any of those other brands are though.

Update...

Those Fellowes covers were junk. Ended up getting a Martin Fields. Did the trick.
