Because appinfo.json is in the outer nova folder. If you are in the inner nova folder, you need to "cd .." first to get out, then run the desktopgen command. Pay attention to where files are located, don't just enter command blindly.

Ok i can not manage to install the nova game, i tried everything really

can someone how did install the game show me the commands he did enter? i just can't figur out the problem

What's the problem now? (error messages, etc...)
Try this, after you chmod the nova file AND if you are still in the innermost nova folder, run:

preenv
./nova

See if that works. Then you can try the desktopgen later.

hmmm dont work

it says "premission denied"

Did you "chmod a+x nova" ?
And did you "sudo gainroot" before doing that?

EDIT: OK, let's try again from the beginning, assume that you have nova in "/home/user/com.gameloft.app.nova". Run the following:

Code:

sudo gainroot
cd /home/user/com.gameloft.app.nova
chmod a+x nova/nova
preenv
desktopgen appinfo.json
exit

If clicking on the icon doesn't work , go to xterm and run:
(do not sudo gainroot)

Code:

preenv
/home/user/com.gameloft.app.nova/nova/nova

Then copy the error messages here.

i've successfully installed nfsuc and sims3 , but when i'm tried to install realsoccer2010 it showed the next error shown below.. please somebody help me if you know how to fix this problem

i had the same problems with other games.. only sims and nfsuc was installed successfully

Not a problem. Installed in 15 seconds and have been playing continuous for 2 hours without any problem. Likely the 2nd best game I ever play in my life! I also shot pic for the best game I played, anybody know what is that called? The pic to the left of Sandstorm. I rated it game of ALL game, good plot, good graphic and of course challenging to play... It all played so smooth, as if ... uh, a gameboy? All installed in N900 without any effort! N900 screen is small? Not a problem, TV out is right there..., not sure whether it works under nitdroid. I have NOT tried yet, as my wife is already feeling very very jealous and I dare NOT to provoke her. She has the right to just hide my N900... she did it before.

For the OP, nfsuc and sim3 also installed and run like native game playing machine. Find me something like the N900 on the market today.

how did u get into game play? first of all for me its not full screen, its 3/4 full screen landscape, all buttons work apart from ok/select
so not working for me
