Someone had noticed at the swedish meego forum that in PR1.3 you can enable alarm reminders for the birthdays in the calendar.
That's a new one, isn't it? At least I have missed that feature before.

Nope, that's there on PR1.2 as well (unless PR1.3 allows you to set them arbitrarily, rather than either off or 1 day before?).

mine originally set @111, but kernel already changed for overclocking and boost to 118 works as expected

    118

It's definitely not a placebo effect. I can actually feel the snappiness. It's faster, email client works everytime now. Damn, wonder what 1.4 (if there is one) will do!

Just a few things i noticed. Seems they changed multitasking a bit.

Before, when you opened an app and entered the menu. If you exited the menu it would go back to the desktop, now it goes back to the dashboard view if an app is open.

Wigets can now be placed unto screen edges without going over to the other desktop.

They also messed with pulse audio to make it slightly less cpu consuming. Everything on the audio card was set to 85% before, now it's all set to 80%, this increases battery life and performance a bit.

Dunno if they changed anything in the kernel...

Seems that my infrared, or QTirreco is not working anymore under 1.3.

    Anybody else has experienced this?
