First, i wan to say hi, to everybody here!

I have problems, big time...
This week i received my nokia n900 unlocked, with uk firmware pr 1.2...
i re-flashed it with global fw, pr 1.3, everything good now.
but, when i try installing different apps, im running into error, saying packages are missing...
this happens for mypaint, fm radio, and many others...

I have extras, and devel extras repos installed.

i have downloaded every package that is missing, installed it using xterm, dpkg -i, command. still no luck...

i will try this apt-get update/upgrade method.

but what is the problem? should i downgrade back to pr 1.2 uk firmware, to avoid same problems in the future!?

Thanks!

After updating to 1.3 (& 1.2) I was having trouble with re-installing some packages & this is what solved it for me. Maybe it will for the OP too.
