little idea for an app or code. if i type a text for anyone other than the missus with an X at the end then it asks if im sure i wish to send before sending.

If you remember to type the X at the end of the message, aren't you already aware enough of what you're typing and who you're sending it to? (I suppose you can get into the habit of appending X to your messages whenever you're typing something sensitive...)

Or do you mean you put, say "X" at the end of a contact's name, and it asks you if you're sure you want to send the message if the contact you're sending it to doesn't have an X at the end?

I can see potential for this, but I don't know how easy it would be to implement... I don't know how many steps between the 'send' button press and the phone actually sending the message happen through open or transparent processes, or could be intercepted in one way or another. I'm sure it's doable. Just a question of will-any-developer-good-enough-to-make-it-happen do it.

Nice idea. A couple of times I've nearly put Xes at the end of a text sent to someone else. Force of habit!
