One googles, pricegrabblers, whatnots, returned buy.com has N800 for $231.99.

Go to the website, buy.com, and actually placing an order, price is $239.99.
Was there a change and now change back again? I do not know. Today, there is No price change for N800 from buy.com.

I read your post, and would like to earn, uh , $8, no cigar. However, on Google search, it still comes up at $231.99, only if one goes to the web site then the price is differenct. Did you by any chance actually put the item in the shopping cart to see the price? Just wondering what actually happened..........

This is not unusual behavior for internet prices and the big box stores are doing the same sort of thing. Read the 'Undercover Economist' by Tim Harford for an interesting explanation on how prices are really established.

Could it also be possible that the higher-ups have read our complaints and realized that the N800s will be pushing out at a higher rate than expected versus the n810s, so they bumped up the price of the N800 a bit?

I think they realized that when they bumped down the price they sold too many units. I notice that took it off their front page too. they probably have 100,000 of these. lol

If so, it would have been by more than $8 USD...
