Anyone having problem in PR 1.3 and matans hildon-home where the desktop just stop answering to clicks ? I can move between desktops , but when i click on shortcuts they do not reply...
I have to killall hildon-home to fix it ....
Got 4 times already ...

wasn't this a problem with desktop command execution widget ages ago?

If it was, you must be running an older version of it, I have it installed on PR1.3 and it's fine (version 1.10)

Other than that, it will probably be another widget thats causing the issue, remove them all and see if it still does it, then add them back one by one.

i have no widgets in desktop besides weather forecast...

Try this it always works for me when hildon-home stops responding.

#NOTE: Killing the hildon-home process can erase all widgets and that is why it is disabled
#killall hildon-home
You might try experimenting with following command (ran as user, not root):

/usr/sbin/dsmetool -k /usr/bin/hildon-home && /usr/sbin/dsmetool -t /usr/bin/hildon-home
This is "clean" way of restarting hildon-home (could be also used for other system processes, not sure) and will keep widgets in place.
